Hi guys!! My name is Wendy!!  Let me tell you a little about myself.  I am a Jesus follower first and foremost, the wife to a wonderful man who inspires me each day with his love of God’s creation and His Word.  We have 2 amazing kids that have blessed us with grandchildren which are a delight in our life.

I have taken a leap of faith and left the corporate world to rediscover the woman God intended for me to become.  It’s scary and exciting all at the same time.  I am discovering that I love upcycling furniture and shopping for vintage finds. You will find me alot of days in thrift stores and attending auctions.  Chalk paint has become my friend! I am fascinated with coffee and tea and love hanging out at our favorite coffee shops.  I love all things plaid and would cover my house in plaid if my husband would let me.  I have a love for photography but a photographer I’m not.

Since leaving my job I have struggled to really find my place.  I joke to others that I am trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up, but it really is the truth.  God’s plan was for me to come home all along, and each day I am trusting Him to map it all out and gradually He is revealing it piece by piece. I am reminded of Proverbs 3:15-16 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding  In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”   As I am learning to embrace transition and moving toward God’s plan, my hope is to encourage other women in their faith and their own personal journey of rediscovery!!
